Provincial leaders and representatives from Petrolimex presented water purifiers to disadvantaged households in Dong Hung Commune.

During the event, the provincial leaders and Petrolimex representatives handed over 1,100 Ecozen-25 water purifiers to households in difficult circumstances affected by floods, helping residents gain better access to clean water, protect their health, and prevent diseases after natural disasters. The households were also guided on how to install and properly use the distributed water purifiers.

This program is part of Petrolimex’s initiative to implement its greenhouse gas emission reduction action plan, contributing to the Group’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality and Net Zero, in line with the Government’s direction.

In addition, Petrolimex donated VND 500 million to the Fund For the Poor and VND 500 million to the Dong Hung Commune Education Fund, demonstrating the Group’s continuous support for social welfare and education development.

The “Water Purifier Distribution for Community and Climate Action” program is being carried out across communes in Hung Yen Province, including Dong Hung, Thai Thuy, Duc Hop, and Chau Ninh. This initiative reflects Petrolimex’s strong commitment to social and community responsibility and reaffirms its pioneering role in corporate social responsibility, becoming the first Vietnamese enterprise to implement a large-scale nationwide water purifier distribution program.
