Clean Water for Over 10 Million People

SIPCO’s project, “Global Safe Drinking Water for Schools and Communities”, provides free access to clean drinking water in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. The project has reached over 10 million people so far.

The company has distributed more than 2 million ceramic water purifiers. These purifiers use silver nano and activated carbon to remove 99.99% of harmful bacteria. They are low-cost, easy to use, and ideal for areas without reliable clean water systems.

To scale the impact, SIPCO built a dedicated factory. It can produce up to 150,000 purifiers each month. The company also works with local groups like the Women’s Union, Red Cross, and ministries of environment to deliver clean water directly to homes and schools in rural areas.

A Milestone for Vietnam and the Region

SIPCO is proud to be the only Vietnamese organization recognized at the 2025 Global Water Award. This recognition not only marks a milestone for the company, but also underscores the region’s growing contributions to global sustainable development efforts.

Commitment to Sustainability

Besides clean water, SIPCO leads carbon reduction projects across Southeast Asia. The company provides improved cookstoves, water purifiers, and LED lighting to reduce emissions and improve health. These efforts support many of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including climate action, good health, and clean energy.

SIPCO is also a trusted supplier of high-quality voluntary carbon credits, recognized under CORSIA standards by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). These credits are used by global airlines and corporations to meet climate targets and offset emissions.
